On the Major League Scoreboard….Seattle wins its 5th straight game as the Mariners sweep the A’s three games in Oakland over the weekend, including yesterday’s 3-2 win.

The M’s are tied with Houston now just 9-1/2 games back of the A-L West division leading Rangers with 19-games to go in the regular season.

In the National League…the Giants sweep the Diamondbacks in Arizona over the weekend and scored a 5-3 win yesterday.

SF trails the Dogers by 3-games for the N-L West lead.
