(Renton, WA) -- Seahawks linebacker Mike Morgan, who was placed on injured reserve earlier this week, says surgery that was performed on his abdomen was a success. The "News Tribune" reports yesterday's procedure was intended to fix a sports-hernia-like condition. Head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Morgan would likely be out for about five weeks. The Seahawks have signed linebacker Jordan Tripp from the practice squad to fill Morgan's spot on the active roster.
