On the college hardwood…the Oregon Ducks opened Pac-12 play with a sweep of #2 UCLA, and 22nd ranked USC over the weekend handing both the Bruins and Trojans their first losses of the season. Oregon, 13-and-2, has won 11 straight and travels to Washington Wednesday night.

Oregon State is still struggling…the Beavers drop two games to to the L-A schools. The Beavers take their 4-and-11 record to Pullman Wednesday night to face Washington State in The Palouse.

The 22nd ranked Oregon State women won its 10th straight game downing #8 Washington last night, 73-70. The 13-and-1 Beavs travel to take on #21 Cal Friday. Meantime, The Lady Ducks drop two games over the weekend losing to the Huskies and Cougars to open league play. Seven Pac-12 women’s teams are rated in the Top-25 beginning the new year.
