Seahawks' CB Shead May Not Be Ready For Start Of Season

(Indianapolis, IN)  --  There's a good chance that Seattle Seahawks cornerback DeShawn Shead won't be ready for the start of the 2017 season.  General Manager John Schneider told reporters at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis yesterday that Shead will not likely be sufficiently recovered from a torn ACL to be good to go for opening day.  Shead suffered the injury during Seattle's playoff loss to Atlanta.  Schneider says he won't rule out Shead being ready for the opener, saying he's doing very well with his rehab.
