The Pac-12 men’s basketball Tournament tipped off yesterday at the new T-Mobile Arena, and the Beavers end their dismal season at 5-and-27 after Cal held off Oregon State with a 67-62 win.

Arizona State stunned Stanford, 98-88 to get the chance now to play The Ducks at Noon today in the Quarterfinals. Oregon is 27-and-4, and the Devils 15-and-17.  

Elsewhere, Colorado eliminates Ernie Kent’s Washington State Cougars, 73-63, and USC beat the Huskies, 78-73. Today…Cal faces Utah; Arizona plays Colorado at 6, followed by UCLA and USC at 8.

  • Intersection of NW Broadway Street and NW Delaware for waterline replacement project, road closures with detours clearly marked for thru traffic, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily with roads opened nightly. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area and use Bond Street and Wall Street.

 

  • Nels Anderson Road between Nels Anderson Place and Brandis Court, single northbound shoulder closure will be in effect, two-way traffic to be maintained. Project completion expected December 2017.
