Top ranked Oregon State’s baseball team will host Vanderbilt Friday night in the NCAA College Baseball ‘Super Regionals.’  The Beavers host Vandy in a best-3 game series with the winner advancing to the Elite-8 College World Series in Omaha.

Oregon State is 52-and-4 and last made the World Series in 2013, but were eliminated. The Beavers are trying to make magic happen again 10-years later when Oregon State last won the National Title in 2007.

Vanderbilt won it all in 2014 and bring a 36-and-23 record to Corvallis.

In other Supers…Long Beach State hosts Cal State Fullerton, Florida State greets Sam Houston State, LSU takes on SEC rival Mississippi State, Texas A & M entertains upstart Davidson, in a state battle….Louisville welcomes Kentucky, TCU greets Missouri, and Florida plays Wake Forest.

The 8-winners make Omaha and the College World Series next week.
