MLB Draft

The Big League baseball Draft enters its third, and final day of rounds 11 through 40 in the Free Agent market.

Yesterday, Oregon left-handed Pitcher David Peterson was selected 20th overall in the first round by the Mets, and Oregon State’s Drew Rasmussen, originally from Spokane, was tabbed 31st overall by the
Tamp Bay Rays.

The Beavers also had Junior first-baseman K.J. Harrison selected in the 3rd Round by the Brewers, 84th overall…and, Redshirt Junior Pitcher Jake Thompson, a Siuslaw graduate, was drafted in the 4th round, 131st overall.

Oregon Catcher Tim Susnara was picked in the 8th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks.


And,
Joey Morgan, product of Sisters High Scool and current Washington Huskies catcher, was drafter to the Detroit Tigers in Round 3.
