Oregon State Football Coach Steps Down

(Corvallis, OR)  --  Oregon State head football coach Gary Anderson is stepping down.  The school says they and Anderson have mutually decided to release each other from the remainder of Anderson's contract, which was set to expire in 2021.  Anderson opted to waive his right to the remaining value on his contract of approximately twelve-point-six-million-dollars.  Anderson replaced Mike Riley in December 2014.  OSU hired him away from Wisconsin after a 10-and-3 season.  Anderson had a 7-and-23 record with OSU.
