(Phoenix, AZ) -- Several sources have reported Oregon coach Willie Taggart met with Florida State officials while on a recruiting trip in the Phoenix area. The Seminoles are in the market for a coach after Jimbo Fisher bolted to take the Texas A&M job. The "Orlando Sentinel" reported FSU and Taggart's agent were negotiating a contract and is making preparations to have its new coach on campus today. Taggart is a Florida native and coached South Florida to a 10-and-2 record in 2016. In his first year at Oregon, the Ducks went 7-and-5.
