High School Basketball

In the Boy’s Intermountain Conference, 11th ranked Summit handed 4th rated Mt. View its second straight league loss in as many games as the Storm beat the Cougars, 62-50. With the win, Summit moves into a first-place tie with Mt. View.

The Bend Lava Bears had shared 2nd place with Summit until last night when Redmond stole a 16-point win on Bend’s home court, 57-41.

On the 4-A scoreboard…Madras collects an 80-52 win at Molalla and remains in sole possession of 2nd Place in the Tri-Valley.

Elsewhere, La Pine lost at home to Pleasant Hill, 60-51.
Culver defeated Wasco County 48-30.
 
In the 1-A Mountain Valley, in Klamath Falls…league-leading Hosanna Christian holds off Trinity Lutheran, 62-55.
