The prep basketball picture is becoming a bit more clearer as the boys and girls IMC regular season concludes tomorrow night and 4th ranked Mt. View will host #10 Summit for the league crown. Bend will be the #3 seed.

The Lady Lava Bears of Bend clinched the #1 seed in the IMC but could share the league crown with Ridgeview if Redmond pulls out a win over Bend’s girls Friday night.

One local team bowed out of the OSAA State Playoffs and that was Trinity Lutheran boys who lost last night in the Class 1-A first round at Jordan Valley, 65-44. Trinity ends its season 19-and-9 overall.

In the 4-A ranks…Sisters boys will host a 1st round Playoff game next weekend, and the same for the Madras girls as both won their respective Leagues. The Outlaws claimed the Sky-Em title and will host a playoff on Saturday, March 3rd while the Lady Buffs will host the night before on March 2nd.

Meantime…the Madras boys hosts a ‘Play-In’ game Saturday and will face Tillamook. Crook County travels to Beaverton to meet Valley Catholic.

You can follow the Playoff race online at ‘OSAA dot Org.’
