Mariners Shut Down By Astros, McCullers

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners struck out 14 times in a 4-1 loss to the Astros at Safeco Field.  Seattle managed just one hit in seven innings against Houston starter Lance McCullers Jr., a Robinson Cano solo homer in the first.  Dan Altavilla took the loss in relief of starter Ariel Miranda.  The M's had just three hits in all.
