(San Jose, CA)  --  The Timbers are going up against the Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium on Saturday.  Portland shut out New York City FC 3-nil last Sunday for its second straight win.  The Timbers are 10th in the Western Conference with eight points at 2-3-and-2.  San Jose is just behind Portland in 11th place with five points at 1-4-and-2.
