The Bend Girls captured the 5A OSAA State Golf Championship yesterday in Corvallis by 12-shots better than Summit. It’s the first team title since 2008. Summit’s Olivia Loberg won Medalist honors with a 6-shot win. Bend’s Kaylie Hayes finished 6th overall.

And, Marist ended Summit’s run of 3-straight Titles as the Spartans won the Boys trophy. Summit finished 2nd place, 20-shots back. The State Tennis and Track & Field Championships begin tomorrow.
