(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Outlets have reported Oregon native Kyle Singler is being waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Singler, who starred at South Medford High, was to make five-million dollars this year in the final year of his five-year contract. The Thunder will save more than 23 million dollars in luxury tax and salary with the move. Singler appeared in only 12 games last year. He was a 2011 second-round pick out of Duke.
