One-Handed Griffin To Start For Seattle

(Renton, WA)  --  One-handed rookie linebacker Shaquem Griffin will start in Week One for the Seattle Seahawks.  Coach Pete Carrol confirmed Wednesday Griffin will start in place of the injured K.J. Wright when they visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday.  Griffin was born with amniotic band syndrome, which did not allow the fingers on his left hand to fully develop.  He'll be joined in Seattle's starting defense by his twin, second-year cornerback Shaquill Griffin.
