High School Volleyball and Soccer

On the prep volleyball floor last night, #2 Crook County and third-ranked Ridgeview both scored league wins as the Cowgirls got out of Hood River with a 3-2 win, and the Ravens shutout Redmond 3-zip.

 

In 4A action, Sisters remains undefeated at 5-and-0 and in first place in the Oregon West Conference as the Outlaws snatched a 3-1 win at Stayton. Madras, meantime, lost its league opening match at Corbett, 3-zip.

Elsewhere, La Pine lost to Creswell in 3-games, and Culver blanked Colton, 3-to-nothing.

 

Tonight in the 6A new Mountain Valley League, #2 Summit travels to West Salem. 7th ranked Bend plays at Sprague with both teams tied for 2nd place in conference play. And, Mt. View visits South Salem.

 

In Girls non-league Soccer, Mt. View was a 3-1 winner at Lebanon.  Central beat Redmond, 5-to-1. Sisters lost 2-zip at Stayton. Today, La Pine hosts Pleasant Hill in a non-league match.

 

On the boy’s side…Crook County got by Lebanon 3-2, and Stayton blanked Sisters 7-zip. And, La Pine and Creswell played to a 1-1 draw yesterday.
