(Renton, WA) -- The Earl Thomas era is over in Seattle. The Seahawks placed the Pro Bowl safety on injured reserve Tuesday, ending his season. Thomas held out for a new contract all offseason to no avail, and elected to return to the team with one year left on his deal. He had three interceptions in four games before breaking his leg in Sunday's win over Arizona. Seattle also placed tight end Will Dissly on IR with a patellar tendon injury.
