(New York, NY) -- Oregon is being accused as one of the universities potentially involved in the NCAA pay-for-play scandal. Former Adidas executive Jim Gatto and his defense attorney Casey Donnelly stated that "Oregon offered an astronomical amount of money for the commitment of former five-star recruit Brian Bowen." Gatto claims they only offered 100-thousand dollars to the former McDonald's All-American because Louisville coaches feared Oregon offered more. The University of Oregon responded to the allegations and confirmed that there is currently no connection between the school and the scandal.
