College Basketball Roundup

The Pac-12 men’s basketball Tourney tips off today in Las Vegas with 4 games starting at noon with USC facing Arizona, followed by Cal and Colorado with the winner meeting Oregon State tomorrow at 2 in the quarterfinals.

 

Tonight, Stanford faces UCLA at 6, then Oregon plays Washington State at 8:30. Pre-game show at 8:00 on KBND. The Ducks-Cougs winner meets Utah tomorrow. Washington, Arizona State, Utah and the Beavers all with 1st round byes today.
 
Last night, Top-rated Gonzaga was upset in the Westcoast Conference Tournament Title game in Las Vegas as St. Mary’s took down the Bulldogs, 60-47 ending the Zags 7-straight league Title run. St. Mary’s gets the automatic invite to the Big Dance next week.

 

In Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Oregon Tech men came up short of winning the schools 4th NAIA small college title as Spring Arbor, Michigan outlasts the Owls, 82-76.  The Owls finish 28-8 overall and last won the Title in 2012. 

Ridgeview graduate Sophomore Garret Albright who started his 34th game went scoreless but grabbed 5 rebounds and had a blocked shot. OIT returns all but one player next year.
