Former Seahawks Quarterback Charged With Aggravated Assault

(Fort Worth, TX)  --  Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin has been indicted on felony charges of aggravated assault.  The indictment stems from an incident last year when he was accused by his girlfriend of breaking her jaw.  In addition to the aggravated assault charge, Boykin was also charged with witness tampering.  The 25-year-old was originally arrested in March of 2018 on an aggravated assault charge, while he was still with the Seahawks.  He was released immediately after, and eventually handed a one-game suspension by the NFL.  Boykin is being held in jail with a $60,000 bond.
