Jill Ellis Stepping Down As Coach Of US Women's National Soccer Team

(Undated)  --  U.S. Women's National Soccer Team coach Jill Ellis is announcing she will be stepping down from her position in October.  U.S. Soccer announced Ellis will continue to coach the team during the five-game victory tour, starting this Saturday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California against Ireland.  Ellis is the first coach in history to win two women's World Cup titles.  The 52-year-old has an overall record of 102 wins, seven losses and 18 ties.  The organization says she will transition to the roll of an ambassador for the team for at least the next year.
