(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers will host their sixth straight home game when they welcome Sporting Kansas City to Providence Park Saturday.  The Tims have opted to play during the FIFA international break, which most of the league is observing.  Portland is coming off a 1-nil win over Real Salt Lake this past weekend.  They are in the eighth-spot in the Western Conference with 40 points through 27 matches.
