(Seattle, WA)  --  The Oregon State women's basketball team is moving on in the NCAA Tournament after defeating Middle Tennessee, 55-36.  The Beavers' Sydney Wiese [[ weece ]] scored a career-high 26 points, including six three-pointers.  The Oregon State defense held the Blue Raiders to only 23-percent shooting from the floor.  The Beavers will play top-seed South Carolina in tomorrow night's second-round game at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle.
