(Newport, OR)  --  Police in Newport say they've arrested a woman who's accused of trying to set fire to the 4-plex apartment where she lives.  A resident called police yesterday after noticing the garbage area was on fire.  The resident then grabbed a hose to put the fire out, prompting 24-year-old Ashley Hunt to allegedly turn off the water.  Residents say she had threatened to burn the building down earlier.  When police arrived she was barricaded in her apartment and had doused the unit with an accelerant.  Officers forced their way in and arrested her.
