Walk Me Home...to the place I belong 5k

From 9:00AM to 12:00PM

Saturday, September 7th at 9:00 am in Drake Park, ATA will host the first ever Walk Me Home...to the place where I belong\\\" National Foster Parent Association event. Our 5K race and family walk, with a scavenger hunt for the kiddos, will run along the beautiful Deschutes river and through two scenic parks. There will be music, food, prizes, games for the kids and fun waiting for you at the finish line! Proceeds from this event will be used to provide beneficial programs, scholarships and services to the foster and adoptive families in our community. Cost? $20 each, Family not fostering $12.50 each, Foster family $5 each. Teams can register for $15 per member. 4th Annual Yogis Unite! Bend or “YU! BEND

4th Annual Yogis Unite! BEND - Oregon’s largest yoga festival Is set for Saturday, September 7th, Bend, OR Yogis Unite! BEND or “YU! BEND” returns for its 4th year along the Deschutes River for a day of unity, acceptance, love and wholeness the first weekend after Labor Day @ 805 SW Industrial Way, in the Old Mill (near Bikram Yoga of Bend and Tumalo Creek Kayak) YU! BEND unites our community through yoga to educate the health benefits of yoga, while raising funds for 2 local non-profits: Bethlehem Inn - C.O.’s largest homeless shelter and CANCancer – providing assistance for neighbors battling cancer. $12 Event Pass includes the morning class led by 10 area instructors and studio owners, the Exhibitor Showcase with nearly 2 dozen vendors featuring health, wellness, local and green minded businesses and; we encourage participants to bring a potluck for; an after class community picnic. A highlight of the event each year is our RAFFLE DRAWING. One (1) lucky yogi wins…1 year unlimited yoga @ these participating studios: Back Bend Yoga, Bikram Yoga Bend, Groove Yoga, Iyengar Yoga of Bend, Mid-Town Juniper Yoga; Namaspa Yoga &Massage, Sol Alchemy and The Yoga Lab (more than a $7500 value). $5 Raffle tickets.
