MONDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: Shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, Bend Police announced Gabriella Layva-Rosales was found safe. They released no other details.

BEND, OR -- Bend Police are searching for a five-year-old girl who was reported missing, Monday morning. The girl's grandmother reported she woke up at 7:30 a.m. and Gabriella Leyva-Rosales was gone. She was last seen in her bed at 4 a.m. The girl lives with a foster family on NE Wells Acres.

Officers are searching several areas around Bend for the girl. Her biological mother, Bertha Leyva (pictured below, with Gabriella), is a person of interest in Gabriella's disappearance. She may be driving a black SUV, similar to a Suburban, possibly towing an open-top wood-sided trailer. Anyone who sees Gabriella, her mother or the vehicle is asked to call 911.

  • Click on the link for the latest conditions on the mountain passes.

  • Intersection of NW Broadway Street and NW Delaware for waterline replacement project, road closures with detours clearly marked for thru traffic, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily with roads opened nightly. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area and use Bond Street and Wall Street.

  • Nels Anderson Road between Nels Anderson Place and Brandis Court, single northbound shoulder closure will be in effect, two-way traffic to be maintained. Project completion expected December 2017.
