BEND, OR -- Bend Police received a report just after 5-yesterday afternoon of a man who was hit by a car while in a crosswalk. The man was hit by a westbound car on Northwest Newport Avenue at Northwest 11th Street.
When police arrived they found an injured man being helped by people including a medical professional.
The man was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and was cited for Failure To Stop For A Pedestrian.
