WARM SPRINGS, OR  -- The F-B-I is investigating an officer-involved shooting on the Warm Springs reservation last Sunday. Central Oregon Daily reports police responded to a report of a man with a gun. Police found the man later identified as Macklin Kalama.  Police say Kalama told them several times to, “just shoot me.” Kalama then made a motion that police believed he was going to use deadly force. An officer shot Kalama who was taken to a Bend hospital and later transferred to a Portland  hospital.
