OSU President Ousted

The Board of Trustees at Oregon State University has unanimously agreed to accept the resignation of President F. King Alexander amid charges he mishandled a sexual misconduct scandal in his former position as President of Louisiana State University.  Alexander will be on administrative leave for the rest of the month – his resignation takes effect April First.  The settlement agreement reached today will pay Alexander six hundred thousand dollars, which amounts to his salary for an additional year.  He began his tenure at OSU last year.
