An Airlink Helicopter rescued a snowmobiler yesterday afternoon. Deschutes County Search and Rescue Volunteers responded  to a call regarding an injured 64-year-old Bend woman, who needed help on Trail 5,  three miles west from Dutchman Snow Park. While snowmobiling, the rider struck a downed tree. SAR volunteers learned the patient’s condition was worsening and called for an air ambulance. At about 3 o’clock, Airlink transported the patient to St. Charles Hospital.
