They are looking at the extent of the leak discovered last month at the dam.

 

Bob Gravely reports on what they found.

 

"I would say generally it was in line with our expectations, nothing alarming.  We're fully confident the dam is safe.  But it is showing signs of being one hundred years old.  It's showing signs of its age."

 

Gravely says they paln to do an internal review of the repair options and their costs and whether they make economic sense to do.

 

Pacific Power expects to get back with city of Bend officials on its plans by mid December.

  • Intersection of NW Broadway Street and NW Delaware for waterline replacement project, road closures with detours clearly marked for thru traffic, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily with roads opened nightly. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area and use Bond Street and Wall Street.

 

  • Nels Anderson Road between Nels Anderson Place and Brandis Court, single northbound shoulder closure will be in effect, two-way traffic to be maintained. Project completion expected December 2017.
