Sometime between late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, a very special bike was stolen from a home on northeast Norton in Bend. Bikes are stolen all the time; but this one has a very special purpose of a special man. "He has been deaf since birth. And this is his mode of transportation. He’s a 50 year old man who gets around on this bicycle all over town and has no other means of transportation."  Sue Kay is the mother of Bob Warr, who has worked on this bike for a long time and he doesn't have many possessions, so the bike means a lot to him. The bike is a black and gray North Track bicycle, with about 24 speeds and new tires. Kay says if the person who took this will return it; she won't press charges. If you have any information about the bike or the crime, please contact Bend Police: 541-693-6911.
