Water, Sewer Rates Likely To Rise In Portland

(Portland, OR)  --  Water and sewer bills will likely rise for Portland residents next year.  An increase of four-point-66 percent is being proposed, which would mean an increase of approximately four-dollars-42-cents per month for the typical customer.  Commissioner Nick Fish told KOIN-TV that a break on water and sewer service for developers will be eliminated, meaning the increase won't be as high as it could be.
