(Spokane, WA) -- Former Spokane NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal, who resigned Monday during a racial-identity scandal, is no longer a member of the city's Police Ombudsman Commission. The Spokane City Council voted to remove Dolezal from the panel, following an internal investigation into misconduct that targeted her and two other volunteer commissioners. One of those investigated, Kevin Berkompas has resigned from the commission, and the third, Adrian Dominguez, will be given a chance to respond to the investigation's findings. The "Spokesman-Review" reports Dolezal never responded to letters from Spokane Mayor David Condon asking her to resign.
