More Than 400 Gallons Of Diesel Spilled Into Willamette River

(Portland, OR)  --  Officials say more than 400 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from a barge into the Willamette River at Northwest Portland.  Coast Guard officials say the diesel spilled when a bunker tank docked at a terminal was overfilled.  "The Oregonian" reports the spill was near a facility belonging to international energy company Kinder Morgan.  Clean-Rivers Cooperative of Portland is handling cleanup.
