Oregon Ranked 18th For Death Row Inmates

(Undated)  --  A new study shows Oregon is ranked 18th for the most death-row inmates among the 31 states that have the death penalty.  Politics website InsideGov says 34 inmates still await their fates on death row in Oregon, while the state has executed two people since 1976.  Oregon and Washington are among four states with a governor-imposed moratorium on capital punishment.  The state with the highest number of death-row inmates is California, with 743, while Washington is ranked 25th with nine on death row.
