(Banks, OR) -- Two people and a dog are recovering after being rescued from a burning SUV. Authorities say four Good Samaritans and an off-duty Washington County sheriff's deputy stopped and pulled the occupants out of the vehicle as it burned on Highway 26 Saturday night. Officials say 18-year-old Jordan Moore was driving west on the highway near the community of Banks when his Jeep Cherokee left the road and went airborne over a large drainage ditch, then caught fire on impact. He was taken to a hospital, as was a woman who was also in the Jeep. The dog wasn't hurt.
