Prosecution Rests Case Against WA State Auditor

(Tacoma, WA)  --  Closing arguments in the federal trial of Washington State Auditor Troy Kelley could be delivered next week.  The prosecution has rested its case, in which Kelley is accused of stealing more than one-million dollars in fees he was supposed to refund to clients of his real-estate service business before he became state auditor.  Prosecutors say Kelley moved the money to various accounts in an effort to hide it, but the defense argues the money was Kelley's to keep.
