(Portland, OR) -- Portland Public Schools officials say there are elevated levels of radon in six schools. The school district says it received radon test results that showed elevated levels in some buildings, but there's no word on when the results came in. The senior director of Facilities and Asset Management, David Hobbs, says the last time the district tested buildings for radon was in 2001. Hobbs says a second round of testing will take place in the coming days.
