Washington Jobless Rate Remains Steady

(Olympia, WA)  --  Washington's unemployment rate remains at a seasonally-adjusted five-point-eight percent for the sixth straight month.  The state Employment Security Department says that's despite the addition of 87-hundred jobs from April to May.  The department says the state has added more than 101-thousand jobs over the past year.  The greatest job growth in Washington last month took place in the professional & business services sector.
