(Portland, OR) -- Oregon's senior U.S. senator wants all presidential nominees to release their tax returns. Democratic Senator Ron Wyden tells KATU-TV that every nominee, both Democratic and Republican, released their tax returns as part of a bipartisan tradition that lasted for decades. Current Republican nominee Donald Trump has stirred controversy by so far refusing to release his tax returns. Wyden's legislation would require presidential candidates to release their returns within about two weeks of being nominated.
