"Don't Shoot PDX" Urging Delay Of Police Union Agreement Approval

(Portland, OR)  --  Leaders of the activist group Don't Shoot PDX are urging the city to delay signing a collective-bargaining agreement with the police union.  The group says it was never included in the process of negotiating the agreement.  Today's Portland City Council meeting is expected to include approval of the agreement.  KOIN-TV reports Don't Shoot PDX will ask the city council to delay signing it, at least until Mayor-Elect Ted Wheeler is sworn into office.
