Poll: Inslee Leads Bryant

(Seattle, WA)  --  A new Washington state opinion poll shows Democratic incumbent Jay Inslee with a 50-percent-to-40-percent lead over his Republican challenger, Bill Bryant.  The KOMO News-Strategies 360 poll was taken among 500 likely voters.  The survey shows Bryant has an uphill climb with about a month to go before the general election, as 62-percent of those questioned either had no opinion of him or didn't recognize his name.  According to the poll, 59 percent approve of the job Inslee is doing regarding the environment and the economy, but the approval rating drops when it comes to education funding and transportation.
