Don't Shoot PDX Plans Protest Of Police Union Pact

(Portland, OR)  --  The activist group Don't Shoot Portland is planning a demonstration later today at City Hall to protest the police union contract.  KGW-TV reports the group intends to camp out there overnight until tomorrow's meeting of the Portland City Council.  Leaders of Don't Shoot Portland say the police union contract doesn't sufficiently address police accountability.  Last week's Council meeting on the contract was postponed after two protesters were arrested for disrupting proceedings.
