MAX Murderer Says There Are No "Heroes" In Case

(Portland, OR)  --  The Portland man accused of killing two men and injuring another on a TriMet MAX train appeared in court yesterday morning.  Jeremy Christian has been charged with fatally stabbing two men on a MAX train in May.  Christian said while leaving the courtroom yesterday, quote, "Remember, there are no heroes in this case."  Prosecutors say Christian shouted anti-Muslim slurs at two African-American women, prompting the confrontation between him and his victims.
