(Skamania County, WA) -- The Archer Mountain Fire burning in Skamania County, Washington is now 30-percent contained. Fire officials say crews doubled their containment of the fire over the weekend thanks in part to cooler weather and a spot of rain. The 253-acre fire ignited a week ago when the Eagle Creek Fire jumped the Columbia River from Oregon. Officials say more than one-hundred firefighters are still battling the blaze.
