(Portland, OR)  --  Half a dozen David Douglas School District schools are receiving top honors for student health.  Two middle schools and four elementary schools have been named to a short list of The Healthiest Schools In America.  The schools are Ron Russell and Floyd Light Middle Schools, and West Powellhurst, Menlo Park, Lincoln Park and Earl Boyles Elementary Schools.  Thirteen schools total in Oregon made it to the list.  The annual list is compiled by the Alliance For A Healthier Generation.
