Vegas Shooter's Dad Arrested In Oregon In Late 70s

(Anthony, TX)  --  The father of the Las Vegas shooter responsible for dozens of deaths Sunday has ties to Oregon.  Stephen Paddock's father, Benjamin, was arrested in Oregon in 1978 where he ran a bingo parlor.  Benjamin Paddock escaped from a Texas prison in 1968, where he was serving a sentence for a bank robbery in Arizona.  The FBI placed Benjamin Paddock on its Most Wanted List saying he was diagnosed as psychopathic, suicidal and dangerous.  The "El Paso Times" reports Benjamin Paddock was removed from the FBI list in 1977, one year before he was arrested.
