(Portland, OR)  --  A United Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Portland over the weekend after popping a tire on takoff.  The Port of Portland says Flight 1551 from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey landed at Portland International Airport around 10:30 last night.  Officials say emergency responders were standing by on the tarmac to assist with the landing if necessary.  No injuries were reported.  An investigation is ongoing.
